Merlyn

Merlyn was founded in Kilkenny in 2000 and has grown into one of Ireland and Britain’s best-known showering specialists, part of the Norcros group since 2017 but still designed and developed in Kilkenny. Showering is all they do, and it shows in the engineering.

The Arysto collection is the flagship: virtually frameless styling, ultra-slim profiles and precision hinges, built around 10mm toughened safety glass with a Mershield Stayclear coating that resists limescale and soap film rather than relying on you to keep on top of it. The range spans sliding, hinged, pivot and walk-in formats across Arysto X, Ten, Eight and Sleek, with the Arysto Eight a Red Dot Design Award winner, in finishes from polished chrome to brushed brass and matt black.

Below the headline range sit enclosures, wet room panels, bath screens and shower trays designed to work together, so a door, a side panel and a tray can be specified as one thing rather than three. It is a range built for rooms that are not perfectly square – which is most of them.

Merlyn enclosures are on display in our Swansea showroom, where you can open and close the doors and feel the difference a properly made hinge makes.
