Tiles do more heavy lifting than almost anything else in a bathroom, setting the colour, the texture and the entire mood of the room, and they have to stand up to water and wear for decades. It is worth taking your time and seeing them at full size before you commit.
Our Tile Shop displays over a thousand tiles, from porcelain and ceramic to natural stone and statement feature tiles, including ranges from CA’ Pietra and Craven Dunnill. We can order samples in so you can see them in your own light, and you can ask us about quantities, adhesives and trims so nothing holds up the fitting.
How to Choose Your Tiles
Porcelain or ceramic?
Porcelain is denser, harder and less porous, ideal for floors and wet areas; ceramic is lighter and often cheaper, better suited to walls. We will steer you to the right one for each surface.
Buy enough, plus a little
Always allow extra for cuts, breakages and future repairs (usually around 10 per cent), and try to buy the same batch so shades match. We will help you calculate quantities.
Big tiles, fewer joints
Large-format tiles mean fewer grout lines and a calmer, more spacious look, but need a very flat wall or floor. Bring your measurements and we will advise.
