Roper Rhodes

Roper Rhodes was founded in Bath in 1979 by Brian Roper and is one of Britain’s largest bathroom furniture companies. It has been owned by the Svedbergs Group, the Nordic bathroom manufacturer listed in Stockholm, since December 2021, and continues to design from Bath with R2 and Tavistock alongside it in the group.

Furniture is the heart of it. Fitted ranges such as Burford, Aruba and Elan sit alongside modular collections including Walcot, Faber, Hampton, Widcombe, Concierge and Fairmont, in wall-hung, freestanding, cloakroom, tall and double-vanity formats. The choice of widths and finishes is unusually deep, which matters in a British bathroom where the available wall is rarely a round number.

Beyond the cabinetry the range is close to complete: matching sanitaryware, freestanding and roll-top baths, modern and traditional brassware, concealed and exposed shower systems, illuminated and conventional mirrors, bathroom lighting and a full accessories collection. It is one of the few brands from which an entire bathroom can be specified without compromise on any single element.
